You can keep the number you already have from another wireless or landline carrier. Transferring your number, also known as porting, is the process by which you transfer your phone number from one carrier to another. In rare circumstances, if they are unable to transfer a number to our network. This is often because T-Mobile does not have a transfer agreement with the original service provider.
- There is no charge for transferring your phone numbers.
- Wireless line: the transfer will typically be completed in 10 minutes to 3 hours.
Complete these steps to ensure a successful number transfer experience:

- Phone number(s) you want to transfer from your current service provider
- Current service provider name.
- Account number (usually located on your bill or service provider portal).
- Billing address(including ZIP code)
- Contact your current service provider and do the following

Now you can start the transition to your new T-Mobile line
- You’ll get a text message from T-Mobile indicating your number transfer has started.
- You may experience dual service during the transfer process. This is a period of up to 24 hours where service may be active on both phones. If you must call 911 during this time, stay on the line. 911 may not be able to call you back.
- After completing your number transfer to T-Mobile, any remaining lines with your previous service provider that you do not intend to keep may need to be canceled to avoid unexpected charges.

Canceling with your current service provide
- Your account with your previous service provider must remain active to transfer your number over. Make sure you do not cancel your account until after the transfer process has been completed.
- Back up your contacts, voicemail, and text messages before transferring your number to T-Mobile. Your voicemail will reset after the port completes.
- To make sure you don't miss any important calls or texts, it's best to wait to transfer your number until after you get your new device and SIM card.
NOTE: Currently, any member who has an existing T-Mobile voice plan is not eligible to move their current plan onto the FRVA voice plan.

The plan being offered through AT&T is a very usable 25 Mbps max speed. The plan is still unlimited data and is truly unlimited. If you have used 100 GBs or more, and you are in a congested area, you may notice reduced speeds because of data prioritization.

Does my service come with insurance?
No. The device you are currently using with have T-Mobile service but will not come with a T-Mobile or 3rd party warranty or insurance program. The device ownership is solely the owner of the device.
Can I walk into a T-Mobile store or call T-Mobile’s Customer Care to get this deal?

Can I purchase a device under the Family Motor Coach Association Mobility as a Benefit program?

Can I bring over an unlocked, compatible phone that I am still making payments on?

If my device is locked from my current carrier, how do I get it unlocked to bring it to the Family Motor Coach Association T-Mobile program?

How do I port my existing phone number into T-Mobile?

What is a porting PIN? How is it different from my account PIN?
A porting PIN is used by some carriers as an extra layer to ensure a device and/or a phone number is intending to leave its network. A porting PIN is ONLY used when a device and/or a phone number is moving to another carrier. A porting PIN is typically 6 or 8 digits and is only valid for a short period of time.
This is different from your account PIN, which used almost exclusively when you interact with the carrier’s customer service department to prove you are who you say you are. Account PIN’s are typically 4 digits long and do not change unless you decide to change it.
Will my old service automatically turn off once I switch to the Family Motor Coach Association T-Mobile program?
Every carrier is different and there are several variables to consider. A good rule is to wait until you have written confirmation that your phone number has been successfully ported to T-Mobile. If you cancel your current service before that happens, we may not be able to access your current phone number for porting.

Thank you for selecting Tech Connect+ Max as your plan of choice!
To sign up with Tech Connect+ Max, you must proceed to the Hyperion portal and make sure you have your FRVA membership information. Before you do, please read the instructions and notes below:
- When you hit the signup button below, you will be taken to the Hyperion portal where you will select a plan by clicking "Add to Cart" on the plan of choice.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to add the plan to your cart. After you have added it, click the "Proceed to checkout" button.
- If you already have an account with Hyperion through Tech Connect, log in using your email and the password you created previously. Otherwise, click; "Create an account."
- If you create an account, your account information should be as follows:

- Create the account using your preferred password and make sure to save the password somewhere. You will need this password to log into your Hyperion account and to view your profile with T-Mobile.
